  • My child/grandchild has a field trip coming up. Do I need to become a NCISD volunteer to attend?

    Posted by:

It is recommended that all volunteers, including parents, grandparents or guardians who wish to participate in field trips, field day, carnivals, etc., become a NCISD designated volunteer. Parents can show up and accompany their child’s class on most school-sponsored field trips without needing to be a volunteer (exceptions would be tours with limited seating). Becoming a volunteer ahead of time will allow you to better assist teachers by being able to chaperone small groups of students and possibly ride the school bus.
