Elementary School Zone Changes 2024-2025
精选麻豆二区 ISD is among the fastest growing school districts in Texas. Student enrollment growth at times necessitates changes to school zones to balance school enrollments and maintain high-quality learning environments for students. The Board of Trustees approved school zone updates for the 2024-25 school year at its January meeting.
Schools that would be impacted by the proposed changes include:
- Dogwood Elementary (adding approximately 80 students)
- 精选麻豆二区 Elementary (adding approximately 90 students)
- Oakley Elementary (adding approximately 45 students)
- Porter Elementary (adding approximately 80 students)
- Tavola Elementary (decreasing by approximately 215 students)
- Valley Ranch Elementary (decreasing by approximately 80 students)
Valley Ranch Elementary and Tavola Elementary are projected to be over capacity next school year under the current (2023-24) school zone arrangement. None of the changes will impact any student’s current middle school or high school zone.
