I am honored to  serve as the principal at Tavola Elementary. My goal is to instill a love for learning and to build positive relationships with the students, staff and parents. I am committed to academic excellence by guaranteeing all students are provided high-quality instruction and support they need to be successful individuals.  I believe that the students at Tavola Elementary deserve the best! 

I am in my 23^rd year of education.  I have served as a classroom teacher for 10 years, an instructional coach for 5 years and an assistant principal for 4 years.  This is my fourth year as an elementary principal and I absolutely love what I do. My family and I live in Kingwood.  My husband is a small business owner in the Porter area and we have 3 amazing boys. 

I look forward to an amazing year leading the students, staff and community at Tavola Elementary!

I am excited to serve as the assistant principal and begin an awesome year at Tavola Elementary. There is no place I would rather be every day than working with children, teachers, parents, and the 精选麻豆二区 ISD 精选麻豆二区. Every child is unique and my purpose is to help them strive to be the best they can be.

I have enjoyed being in education for over 20 years, serving as a teacher, instructional coach, and administrator. I am a proud graduate of Southwest Texas State University (Texas State) where I received my bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Development. In 2005, I earned my master’s degree from Grand Canyon University in Educational Administration.

My goal as an administrator is to build relationships with our students, parents, staff and the community by creating positive learning experiences throughout the year, and continuing to help establish a strong foundation for our students to learn and grow.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling with my three adult children, attending church, spending time with family and friends, and watching sports or a good movie. One of my favorite sayings is "And we know that all things work together for our good!" I look forward to a fabulous year at Tavola Elementary.

My name is Jennifer Petross, and I am thrilled to be a part of the administrative team at Tavola Elementary! My goal as an administrator is to support and build relationships with all stakeholders, students, staff, and parents to ensure the best educational experience possible. We are here for you!

This is my 17th year in education, and I have served as an elementary teacher, district instructional coach, and assistant principal. I am a Texas State Bobcat, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Social Work. I earned my graduate degree in Educational Leadership in 2010 from Sam Houston State University.

I am originally from Central Texas, and moved to Houston in 2006. I enjoy going to concerts, reading, running, spending time with my family, and all things Houston Astros! My husband Nate and I live in the 精选麻豆二区 community with our three amazing kids.

I have no doubt it’s going to be a FANTASTIC year! I genuinely look forward to serving you this year! Go, Timberwolves!
